Giving and tithing

If you are our guest, the service is our gift to you. You need not feel obligated to give but if you would like to contribute to the ministries of this church we welcome your gifts.

As followers of Jesus we believe that giving is a spiritual act as we choose to control our money by giving to God first before worldly claims. We support our ministries with thanksgiving including: gathering together to hear the Word, praise and prayer, authentic worship, celebration of God's transforming grace, community fellowship for strengthening and equipping, and ministry to the 'least of these.' 

We encourage all to work toward tithing as we follow God's direction in scripture.

Electronic Funds Transfer

A popular way to give is through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). No more checks, stamps, envelopes or paper money needed.

By filling out a one time form you can arrange to have your regular giving automatically transferred from your account to the church account in the amount you choose on the schedule you choose. This allows you increased efficiency, simplified bookkeeping and insures that your gifts continue regularly even when you are away.

We Accept Credit Cards

Prefer not to carry checks or cash but you still want to tithe to the ministry of Spirit Song?  We can now accept tithes and gifts with your credit or debit card providing you convenience in giving, security, and simple transaction records.  Before and after worship a member of the finance team will be available to swipe your card.  You will receive an email or text receipt immediately along with the monthly posted transaction on your account for "Spirit Song UMC". 

No account or personal information is stored on our device.  ALL transmitted information meets or exceeds industry standards for security and safety.  "Square Up" is PCI tier one compliant and approved by "Verisign" a leading internet security company.
